Trauma Processing

50 minIn-Person or Online

Service Description

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain process painful or overwhelming experiences so they no longer feel as triggering or intense. Using gentle, guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps “unstick” memories stored in the nervous system, allowing healing to take place. It’s especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and stress-related issues. Clients often report feeling more grounded, less reactive, and more at ease after working through past experiences with EMDR.
